OpenAI's artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT is the fastest-growing app in history.

This is according to a UBS study (via CBS News(Opens in a new window)), which claims that ChatGPT had 13 million unique visitors per day in January, which is more than double the visitors it had in December. ChatGPT has only been around two months (can you believe it?), and it already has 100 million monthly users, the study concluded.

Launched on Kickstarter earlier this month, Senstone is a compact brooch-sized device designed to capture your spur-of-the-moment thoughts at the tap of a button, transferring them to a companion app on your smartphone. But it doesn't stop there: the device's real potential is in its purported automatic-transcription feature, which takes your voice memos and turn them into text you can edit and share.

Google hat AppSheet akquiriert. Dabei handelt es sich um eine No-Code-Plattform für die Entwicklung von Unternehmensanwendungen. Vereinfacht ausgedrückt: Unternehmen können mithilfe der Plattform ihre eigenen Apps bauen, ohne über tiefgreifende Coding- respektive Programmierkenntnisse zu verfügen.

Die Plattform soll Unternehmen dabei unterstützen, Anwendungen aus allen möglichen Bereichen einfach zu erstellen. Die Möglichkeiten reichen laut Google dabei von CRM-Apps bis hin zu Lösungen fürs API-Management. Dazu können Daten von jedem erdenklichen Gerät erfasst und verarbeitet werden. Bei Bedarf lässt sich auch eine KI-gestützte Komponente in die Apps integrieren. Grundsätzlich lassen sich neue Anwendungen aber nicht nur mit neu zu generierenden Daten erstellen, sondern auch mit bereits vorhandenen Datensätzen bestücken.

Zur Überprüfung der Ergebnisse stellt AppSheet Speicherprotokolle zu erfassten Bildern, Barcodes und dergleichen samt Speicherort bereit. Die so erstellte Dokumentation kann wahlweise lokal abgespeichert, per E-Mail versendet oder anderweitig verarbeitet werden.
