I believe it is important for women to have just as good of an education as men because obviously we are half the population and it would greatly increase the standard of living.

We are teachers in development so we must be aware of the conditions of education around the world. There are countries in which education is not a right but a luxury, and in others, for woman there is not education. In these countries, it is important for girls to be educated in order to face men who do not respect them and their rights, and the role of teachers in those places is essential. We can take these stories as inspiration in our teaching work, because we have the duty to change what is wrong in education.
