Overheated Galaxy S3 Burns Melts Samsung Galaxy SIII Burns and mults overheated when charging . Samsung phones are known for getting overheated which usually happens during charging or while playing games. But this case of a brand new GalaxyS3 getting overheated and burnt, is something serious which requires Samsung's attention.
A user has posted pictures of his GalaxySIII which he claims to have burnt while it was getting charged in his car with the car charger and his phone was in the charging cradle. The images of burnt phone are shocking as its not just a minor burnt that damaged the device but this is quite a damgerous device if the problem is for real. We can see that the bottom part which is connected to the charger iscompletely burnt as if someone has set it ablaze. This could have done serious damage to the user had he been talking over the phone while it was getting charged. Melted And Burnt Samsung Galaxy SIII S3 Apparently Samsung is aware of the situation and here is what the official news goes : ”Samsung is aware of this issue and will begin investigating as soon as we receive the specific product in question. Once the investigation is complete, we will be able to provide further details on the situation. We are committed to providing our customers with the safest products possible and are looking at this seriously“. From the above statement, its very clear that Samsung has began investigating the issue and is trying to contact the user who has posted the images to know more about the problem. There are mixed feelings among Samsung fans where some are suggesting that it is the work of competitors to harm the brand name and many users believe that the burnt clearly looks like it is a setup to defame Samsung.

If you are one of the lucky users who manged to get their hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S3, you can head to the tutorial section to root your s3 and install Custom firmware which also includes Clock work mod recovery( which allows you to install custom firmwares)
However, Chainfire's CF-Root is not a complete ROM. Its basically is a simple way to get superuser access (root) to your device by keeping your ROM as close to stock as possible. ICS Update For US T-Mobile Galaxy S II Released Ice Cream Sandwich Official procedure method download update upgrade specs galaxy series t mobile s2 s3 note update ics ice cream sabdwich... 12 June 2012 : After a Long Long Period of Waiting, U.S T-Mobile , has Finally Released the Official 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ICS Update for T-Mobile Based Samsung Galaxy S II yesterday viz June 11 @ 11pm EST/ 8pm PST . Unfortunately, The ICS Update is Not OTA (Over The Air). Rather it requires the Users to Upgrade using Kies Software and a Computer Connected to Internet as Kies Downloads the Update.
US T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II will get the Software Updated to Android Version 4.0.3 / SoftwareT989UVLE1 via Kies. This update changes the Android OS to Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), and Improves Performance and Stability. As previously announced the software update will only be available via Kies, and will not be an Over The Air (OTA) Update.
Procedure :
1. To get the Update, Download and Install the Kies Software onto your computer
2. Then Connect your T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II via a USB cable to Computer / Kies (making sure USB Debugging is enabled)
