At The Bridge with Terrygold  - SoloDonna Club - "Roofs"  Enoki  in Second Life

At The Bridge with Terrygold  - SoloDonna Club - "Roofs"  Enoki   in Second Life | Art & Culture in Second Life - art Exhibitions, Literature, Groups & more | Scoop.it

Running from 13:00 SLT on Wednesday, December 21st through until January 6th at Art on Roofs, is The Bridge by Terrygold, an exhibition of over 40 of her images and studies in what I think is the largest display of her work to date.

Anyone familiar with Terrygold’s work, cannot help but be struck by her expressive use of monochrome, her minimal and striking use of colour and the manner in which props form an integral part of her images and the narratives they project. Seeing so many pieces on display here, complete with thematic groupings, really brings the extraordinary power and beauty of her work home.

MECHANISMUS by Igor Ballyhoo -  Nordan Art at Jorden - Second Life | Art & Culture in Second Life - art Exhibitions, Literature, Groups & more | Scoop.it
Tonight I headed over to Nordan Art at Jorden to see the new Igor Ballyhoo build "MECHANISMUS". Igor is one of my long time fav SL artistic builders of immersive art. His builds are creative and thoughtful as well as aesthetically interesting. I was lucky enough to meet with him there. There is a notecard at the landing of the build which explains things in detail and everyone knows I'm always grateful for the artist's interpretation of their work once I've had a look. But he also provided me a summary for my blog that differs from the detailed sim note on the build.

Morlĭ (morlita.quan) -  Abstract Line Art Gallery - Dax - Second life | Art & Culture in Second Life - art Exhibitions, Literature, Groups & more | Scoop.it

Apmelina sometimes felt like she was being watched by aliens here and the work behind her on the above picture is actually called "Visit from Venus" but the notecard she picked up at the gallery was reassuring.

Abstract Line Art Gallery it's a 2D RL Work's compilation BY MORLITA Quan (MorlitaM).

The pictures here exposed are RL works which mix classical painting with a post graphic design work focused on the lights and geometry.
Inspired by the nature, tries to show an abstract concept about the beautiful nature's shapes with a strong touch of the geometry , always guided by the feelings and the abstract touch.

MetaLES: "Queen's Gambit Declined" von Rebeca Bashly - Second Life

MetaLES: "Queen's Gambit Declined" von Rebeca Bashly - Second Life | Art & Culture in Second Life - art Exhibitions, Literature, Groups & more | Scoop.it

Photographers Io Bechir and Fanny Vermont recently opened their own studio and gallery space in Second Life. Chronophobia and mementos mori in Second Life

Chronophobia and mementos mori in Second Life | Art & Culture in Second Life - art Exhibitions, Literature, Groups & more | Scoop.it
Chronophobia marks the return of Rebeca Bashly to creating her large-scale art installations in Second Life after an absence of over a year. Long noted and admired for offering work that is thought-provoking and which often challenge our perceptions about a subject, Rebeca continue to do so with this installation, which opened at Dividni Shostakovich's…
