Feelgood news of the day. Congratulations to all the graduates of United Evergreen and Belize Christian Academy! Diana Shaw, the founder of the Child Development Foundation, was the guest speaker at the BCA graduation, and her speech was impressive and inspiring to everyone in attendance. It was superb! On to high school, and beyond. Thanks, Belmopan City Online, for the great pictures.

Another round of women's self defense classes were given in Cayo this weekend. Belmopan City Online was at the University of Belize to cover the event. Thanks, Renee Wentz, for all your time and effort to keep the ladies safe.

The Belmopan branch of the Belize Cancer Society had a successful march Saturday. Belmopan City Online was there to take pictures.
"On May 12 dozens (maybe hundreds) of Belmopan residents walked together to support the local Cancer Society and stand together to fight and prevent cancer!"

Would you like to get your mother free maid cleaning for a month? Belmopan City Online is doing another contest. All you need to do is nominate your mother by telling them why she deserves it. That shouldn't be too hard. The cleaning is provided by Happy Maids. Good luck to all.

Belmopan City Online went to the house of the couple that won their contest to pay them a surprise visit. They won a romantic getaway package from the San Ignacio Resort Hotel!

Belmopan had a great showing for their Independence Day parade. They had the Belize Cowboy and Cowgirl Association there to show off some riding skills. Belmopan City Online was there to get pictures. Happy 32nd birthday, Belize!
