This year's La Ruta Maya is just over 3 weeks away. It starts on March 6th, and ends on National Heroes and Benefactor's Day. The Cayo Welcome Center was unveiled yesterday. The SISE Town Council got some great pictures of the celebration. Afterwards, they had the La Ruta Maya Cultural Night. 1000's came out to enjoy the festivities.

Only 20 days until La Ruta Maya. It starts on Friday, March 8th, at the Hawkesworth Bridge. Belikin is a proud sponsor, and you'll see their tents at every stop. They'll also be at the Cayo Welcome Center on Thursday, March 7th for the pre-LRM Culture Night.

The New Sensation Band will be playing at this year's La Ruta Maya Cultural Night. Ascenthium will be playing at Bamboo Bar concurrently! This Thursday, March 3rd, at the Cayo Welcome Center. The fun starts at 7:00pm.

The La Ruta Maya Cultural Night was a great success, and the Cayo Welcome Center proved to be the perfect spot for the wonderful event. Fire spinning and the World Culture Band really made it a great night. "The Cayo Welcome Center was happening Thursday night for the La Ruta Maya Cultural Night. The La Ruta Maya Cultural Night is tomorrow night at the Cayo Welcome Center. There will be live music from the Galen Eagles Band, a Mayan Rain Dance by Orquidea Negra, and Dr. Jaime Awe will present 'The Old Belize River,' which is all about the fascinating history of the Maya and their use of the rivers of Belize.
