Tomorrow morning, the University of Belize will be having Carolyn Cooper present "Sounds of Freedom" as part of the September Celebrations.  The presentation will talk about Reggae and Dancehall music in Caribbean identities.  Everyone is invitede to attend.

 

"The University of Belize in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, Open Campus, Belize will host a presentation by Professor Carolyn Cooper of Jamaica entitled: “Sounds of Freedom: Reggae and Dancehall Music in Decolonization and the Formation of Caribbean Identities” on Thursday September 6 at 9:30 am at the Jaguar Auditorium, Central Campus, Belmopan.  This presentation is part ofthe 2012 September Celebrations in Belize."
