Se trata de un sistema para generar códigos QR a partir de un artículo de Wikipedia. El objetivo de la herramienta es mostrar al usuario el artículo en su móvil y en su idioma de preferencia. Por ejemplo, si yo escaneo un código generado con la QRpedia en un museo en Shangai, veré el artículo en español. El artículo de Wikipedia al respecto, detalla cómo funciona.

Fortunately, a more truthful model is emerging: the creative network, as with the crowd-sourced Wikipedia or the writer’s room at “The Daily Show” or — the real heart of creativity — the intimate exchange of the creative pair, such as John Lennon and Paul McCartney and myriad other examples with which we’ve yet to fully reckon.
