In a flipped classroom, alleviating anxiety can be achieved by implementing straightforward solutions that emphasize the core aspect of learning. By prioritizing simplicity, educators can create a more accessible and comfortable atmosphere for students. Establishing a routine through the utilization of familiar tools further contributes to a seamless learning experience, fostering a sense of familiarity and predictability. This pedagogically-focused approach not only eases anxiety but also enhances the overall effectiveness of the flipped classroom model.

An example of absolutely transformative learning, this is an inspiring approach to how digital technology can (and is) revolutionizing education! Wonderful examples of how progressive thinking, professional development and ICT can all integrate and have a real impact to redefine what classrooms look like, and how students learn. What I particularly love about the technology that is demonstrated within this artefact, is how the technology can incorporate all of the 4C's. It promotes students to engage, collaborate, communicate, critically think and problem solve, as well as explore creativity. Not only does it incorporate and promote the use of the 4C's, but the technology encourages independence, and can be individualized. I also love that the software users can remain anonymous to each other, which I think is very valuable to having uninhibited learning, particularly in young, maturing, children. It allows for impromptu learning to occur, as well as hypothesizing, and learning reflection. The technology also allows for the teacher, to track the data from the students, so it can be used for formative as well as summative assessment purposes, as required. This technology has the ability to link students in with education at a global level, blowing the classroom setting wide open, and providing a platform from which the teacher can facilitate the learning. I think this technology is amazingly versatile, and I cannot wait to trial it within a classroom setting. Awesome stuff!!!

Discusses PearDeck, an interactive tool that can be used by the whole classroom + teacher which will aid me in modifying and re-defining tasks that were previously not possible. I can use this tool to not only check for understanding by being able to view student work, but students can easily collaborate with eachother and develop their general capabilities skills. |
