Not about mobile learning, but even when we start to design an online course we tend to think in terms of lecture-type input first, even though the input may be some kind of online reading material, or (quite commonly) a video of a lecture. The ideas here are pertinent, therefore, in the preparation for syllabus design both for face to face and online.
