Mind mapping is a method that works for quite a lot of people. Brain storming, idea mapping, thought generation, think tanks – call it what you will. Traditionally done on large pieces of paper, why not use your iPad to create mind maps? You could use these for your own purposes, or “convert” those large flip charts into a smaller, digital version. Via Baiba Svenca, aulafran

Some of our teachers use another system, though I agree more systems are coming online.

I simply could not help scooping the BaiBoard app (sentiment towards the name of the tool) but I also see it as a perfect tool for real-time presentation of collaborative work done by a group of students. The app offers you a zoomable multi-page whiteboard and lets you collaborate even on PDF documents. And it is free!

Looks interesting - just wonder if it will be useful for our sessions. I'll need to think of a suitable purpose before I suggest it as an app for our ipads.

The PreZent app is a new powerful presentation tool that allows ... you to combine multiple mediums in a seamless digital presentation... What sets apart the present app is the ability to ad motion/video throughout the presentation in juxtaposition with still imagery to allow for a very fluid presentation. There is no play button. The video plays automatically as soon as the page has turned. This allows for an uninterrupted presentation... Via Baiba Svenca
