There are of course plenty of other questions that can be asked in a Learning Management System needs analysis, but these are some of the most frequently encountered as stumbling blocks further down the line. It’s best to be clear right from the start what your LMS needs are going to be. Personally, I think most captured lectures are boring. Unless the lecturer is a gifted speaker that can hold the attention of learners for an extended length of time, it would be better to break up large lectures into smaller chunks. It would also be preferable to develop a script and record the mini lectures in a sound booth to produce an ideal recording.
