High quality images don't need to cost an arm & a leg. These sites offer images that are free to use for personal or commercial use! Just be sure to pay attention to copyright licensing for each. Most are CC0, but not all. We've made note of how each of these sites can be browsed (how & if they are searchable). Searchable is great if you know what you're looking for. Royalties in production is a huge deal. They come in different fields such as design, music, and photo. Using images for projects can cost a lot, which is why royalty free images can help out the situation without you having to get into legal troubles. Sources and sites like this are very useful to the community. |

Here are a few creative ways you can spend the last few weeks before the winter break. I realize that teachers have curriculum maps and expectations, so you’ll notice that these ideas are all things that still include the standards and still require critical thinking. This is the easiest way to go. It's not scholarly, but it's reminding users that the images have been created by others and granting permission to be used. |
