I love the simplicity and the effective way this program can convert your text into an illustrated video. It allows you to add audio files, change images and the words to create easy and entertaining videos.

Scooped from Tiana - Already I love the visual and engaging aspect of students using a digital program to bring a text to life! Especially in an English classroom, Shakespeare, plays, novels, poems...can all become quite tedious for students with short attention spans and an Ănstaneous' attitude due to how fast technology acts! Whilst it is still a critical skill to be able to read, dissect and analyse large portions of text in English, having a creative process that students can engage in while they interact with traditional text creates a blend in an English classroom. Depending on the unit, I would love for students in my classroom to read a piece of prose or text and transform the message or story into a digital expression such as this videomaker resource! What's more is challenging students to capture details from the text and their analysis to accurately portray the characters, setting and plot. Perhaps they can even accompany this with an audio narration?

This is an amazing source with a compiled list of online museums and resources. In our Covid-19 world, where visiting museums overseas or even in our own countries is not always possible, the chance to provide our students with opportunities to experience and learn while remaining safe, is vital to the continuation of our collective histories.
