Technically Speaking - The New & the Outdated (Infographic)

Technically Speaking - The New & the Outdated (Infographic) | Eclectic Technology | Scoop.it
Beth Dichter's insight:

As technology moves along words that were once part of the lexicon may become endangered as new technology takes over. How many students know what a floppy disk is or have 'dialed' a phone? This infographic has looked at vocabulary and places words in the following categories:

* Endangered words

* Words with updated meanings

* Social media and messaging

* Tech terminology of the future

Check out the poster and see if you agree or disagree with the choices. What would your students think? Are there words they would add or delete? This could become a fun activity and perhaps you could create your own infographic.
