Thank you Dan, finally someone has seen that the emperor has no clothes on! Let's get away from our obsession with slick video production in place of some well designed learning activities backed by solid pedagogy. Master Class is just version 2.0 of Semester Online who died after producing great videos but didn't consider how students learn. Yes, videos should be part of the learning process, and story telling is a component in the educational toolkit, but not in isolation. Nothing wrong in making the videos look professional, but not if it's just art over substance.
