A number of tools detailed I wasn't familiar with. Many are focused on K-12, but there are a few that would also be useful in higher ed.

As teachers of the 21st century we must be updated with what is becoming trendy for teaching. A good example of this, is the implementation of technology with educational purposes, and now google has designed a set of Chromobooks that will help to make classes more current and dynamic. The aim of this, is making classes more personalized, appealing for learners and it will give them the freedom to choose topics for which they feel interested in. Including activities where students must use technology will make us more flexible teachers because we will know how to incorporate the different learning styles in the assignments we propose.

An insightful article that gives tried and tested ideas on how to blend the physical visual art with digital creations. The projects set to the students goes beyond the standard curriculum. These tasks not only take the creation of the physical art and combine them with digital media but furthers student creation with collaboration and shared multimedia. Making it a perfect example of the SAMR model redefinition level and Bloom's Taxonomy. |
