One of Britain’s leading independent energy suppliers is under investigation by the industry regulator amid complaints that it has billed its customers using incorrect usage data.

More evidence of the need for regulation, with OFGEM clamping down on some of the country's energy suppliers in relation to their customer service. Interestingly though, the biggest rebukes come from some new entrants to the market - First Utility, Ovo Energy and Utilita, although Scottish Power have had an existing complaint expanded.
