Not a lot of people know this, but you can share your Android phone’s mobile Internet connection with other devices through WiFi. This is called tethering, or using your phone as a modem. Most US mobile phone carriers impose extra charges for tethering, or don’t allow it under a contract. If this doesn’t apply to you, or you already paid for this feature, then you’re good to go. Here’s how it’s done.

Note: For this article I’m using an HTC Sensation smartphone, your screens may vary, but the process is essentially the same in all versions of Android.
