Make Room for Innovation and Creativity in PBL | Blog | Project Based Learning | BIE | Genius Hour | Scoop.it
Kirsten Wilson's insight:

This is on the verge of Genius Hour.  Insight is exceptional... what is still to be understood is that content and skills can still be taught with even greater depth if components of traditional PBLs such as authentic audience, solving of problems realistically, and giving back are done not from a teacher giving a certain criteria w/in a PBL but giving no parameters and letting students' passions find the problem to resolve.  Now Problem Based Learning becomes Passion Based Learning... content, skills and scope are still there but now it is truly student-driven.
