AI is a tool that can help assist us but it will be seen more in the education field. For faculty, it can help with providing grading and it has already. For example, there are softwares that schools have where a student is working on a math problem and it advances the student depending on the work and knowledge they present.

As educators, there are so many things machines still can't do well... have the capacity to show empathy, read subtle non-verbal cues and know when students are struggling, lost, or disengaged, care about students' well-being.
But, as has been said before, if you as a teacher, can be replaced by a machine, maybe you should be.
