I can envision huge potential for VR and AR in education, but the VR headsets are very expensive, more so than many tablets and entry level laptops.

The one thing limiting the widespread adoption of VR in education is the high cost of the VR headsets.

They'll need to address child safety and privacy issues before Meta can be deemed safe for K-12 education. Facebook doesn't have a very good record in these areas.

This article is truly insightful. This particular one has its goals on making a social media app aimed towards education. Which if it is, it can have make students truly more engaged since these generations are growing with the never ending changes in technology. It is just up to us and schools to try and catch up. |
