P2PU

P2PU | gpmt | Scoop.it
Learning for everyone, by everyone, about almost anything.

P2PU stands for: peer to peer university.

P2PU‘s model is based on their idea is that taking an online course should be more like learning on the job than taking a traditional class.

This approach encourages people to work together on projects and to assess each other’s work with constructive feedback.

Users can also design courses with help from P2PU. Course design is broken down into discrete steps and course content is vetted by peer users and P2PU staff.

Courses are hands-on and varied.

Not all of the courses focus on new technologies.

21 Map Creation Tools

There are many free map creation tools. Google Maps and Google Earth are well known tools for creating maps, but not every learning provider allows practitioners and/or learners to download them.

In this post, written by Richard Byrne, you will find some map creation tools that don't require registration. And, of course, all of the tools on this list are free for practitioners and learners to use.
