This is the final post in a series of five that explored STEM, PBL, and the Common Core and it focuses on resources for Project Based Learning units. "By searching through STEM subjects in these sites’ databases or directories you can come up with a PBL unit to use, remix, or possible implement a lesson from." If we are assigning project based learning to our students we need to make sure the project is challenging, clarity of expectations and understanding, and develop a student culture of ownership for their work.

This article provides great detail to how you can incorporate project based learning into the classroom. This clearly describes how teachers can put PBL into their classroom and why it is effective. I see this as a really helpful tool and will hopefully use it in my classroom

If PBL is to become a powerful, accepted model of instruction in the future, a vocabulary change may be in order — preferably to the term project based inquiry. It’s time to not only address the flaws in PBL, but to reinvent it in a way that leads to deeper learning, creative inquiry, and a better fit with a collaborative world in which doing and knowing are one thing. Here are thoughts about five areas in which PBL needs to move forward.
