I like this article giving teachers and students the power to add third-party apps to an LMS is a creative tool to give them more tools to add to the LMS but also help connect the systems without the need of an FTP script or another app that will act as a bridge.

I'll admit it, I have fallen for these devices as a babysitting tool. Once I stopped myself and realized that I was doing a disservice to my own daughter, I took the approach of being a co-engaged parent with my daughter's use of the iPad.
