More Time With Mom Has Little to No Effect on Children’s Well-Being » Sociological Images | Herstory | Scoop.it

My mom was a stay-at-home, as was the mother of my children for many years. It required sacrifice, but only in an economic sense. Not at all to diminish working mothers, either by choice or by necessity, but  what is a stay-at-home mom worth? She's priceless, and I think we ought to live in the world's wealthiest society constructed to acknowledge that and to allow more women to be stay-at-home moms.

An opinionated woman obsessed with objects, entertained by ephemera, intrigued by researching, fascinated by culture & addicted to writing. The wind says my name; doesn't put an @ in front of it, so maybe you don't notice. http://www.kitsch-slapped.com
