The UN Commission on Population and Development is considering “sexual and reproductive health and rights” for children as young as ten. Even the Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon agrees. In a statement recently released he said, “Young people, as much as all people, share the human right to health, including sexual and reproductive health.”

A small bomb exploded at Planned Parenthood's Appleton North Health Center in Wisconsin, according to numerous news reports. The Green Bay Press Gazette reports that a "small, homemade explosive device" was placed on a windowsill of the clinic at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night, causing damage as well as small fire. [MORE]

An Oklahoma state judge on Wednesday permanently blocked enforcement of a law that would have required doctors to give a woman an ultrasound and describe the fetus to her in detail before performing an abortion. The ultrasound law, which the Oklahoma Legislature passed in April 2010, had been temporary blocked since the Center for Reproductive Rights filed a lawsuit against it the following month.
