For a long time the time period that was after the fall of Rome to the Renaissance was dismissed as relatively unimportant, no great gains were made then. As we learn more we are being to realize how many discoveries and innovations were made. The Vikings were long regarded as invaders and destroyers. However they facilitated trade and allowed the spread of new ideas. |
