I have not needed to do this yet but I figure that this can be beneficial to those looking to transcribe their YouTube videos.

Who are the top 5? 1. Google Apps for Education: 40 million students/educators can't be wrong-and it has Google Docs and no ads.. 2. Twitter: It's become a place for growing a personal learning network (PLN) among educators and is used in the classroom as well. 3. YouTube: With tons of channels that can help educators, it's the place both educators and students love. 4. Edmodo, like Google Apps for Education, has over 40 million members. It's free and has many options to provide content and assessments for students. 5. Remind made it into the top 5. “Think of it as a combo of sticky note and class newsletter for the digital age,” writes nprED reviewer Elissa Nadworny. “Remind allows teachers to send messages — via email, cellphone, iPad or Android device — to an entire class with the push of a button.”

Robin Good's insight:
"Zeeik It" is a new bookmarklet from Zeeik, a video curation app, that allows you to easily collect and save into discrete collections all of the YouTube videos found on Twitter or on most any web page.
Zeeik video collections are a good way to create valuable content that can be embedded in any article or guide and that can be served according to multiple categories and criteria as you can see from this specific example:http://zeeik.com/zeeik/-21828800 (click "Cool Colors" or "Warm Colors").
You can find the new Zeeik It bookmarklet on the top right of the Zeeik home page here: http://zeeik.com/
Free to use.

My thoughts: I knew there were many inappropriate videos on YouTube but I had no idea that you could make them private. I was not aware of how you should share videos on your blog, and how you should use the embed code. I also did not know that you could share your videos to only certain people and not everyone on YouTube would see them. I’ve learned many new important facts about what to do and what not to do on YouTube from this link.

Je ne sais pas si ça marche à chaque fois mais cela vaut la peine d'essayer, ne serait-ce que pour échapper à la pub! |
Interesting! You could also achieve this by embedding a YouTube video within a Lesson Path or Kahoot Quiz!
