Dolly, thanks for your comment. Indeed for someone who truly want so collect and add commentary, scoop.it is the service. And I would even go as far as to say to tell as story, then Storify.

If you need a handy reference for your web publishing needs I have spent a few days pulling together the best tools I use and know-of that I would recommend to use, in an organized and curated link directory of over 70 different categories. From "landing page builders" to "survey tools" and "domain name finders" I have you covered. In general, I have limited the amount of tools and services listed per category to the top 5 I know as to serve also as a curated filter for the vast number of choices available out there. This is definitely a work in progress as you need to continuously edit, refine and improve a directory like this to make it really useful. You are welcome to suggest tools and services that I have not included and I'll make sure that if they are valid ones they get their space too. Free to access. Une liste intéressante d'outils, qui mélange cependant des outils de curation "automatique" (l'outil fait le tri entre les informations) et curation "manuelle", où l'usager fait son tri.

Piktochart is easy to work with and creates a fair Infographic. I still prefer to hire an art director. It's worth the money to have an intelligent designer with you :-)

The mind map concept is also showing up in a project and upcoming conference and book for organizing and making available the diversity of research information in neurobiology. From the link below you can track down that information. Also you can go to newsroom.ucla.edu and search for Dr. Silva, below.
I believe that the visual representation of complex systems is going to percolate progressively into fields less friendly to or organized as a science.
"Alcino Silva, a professor of neurobiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and professor of psychiatry at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. " UCLA researcher invents new tools to manage 'information overload' threatening neuroscienceBefore the digital age, neuroscientists got their information in the library like the rest of us. But the explosion of neuroscience research has resulted in the publication of nearly 2 million papers — more data than any researcher can read and absorb . . .
