Digital pedagogy does my head in. I welcome any support that guides the incorporation of digital pedagogy into my classroom pedagogy.

Digital pedagogy is such a complex field, but it doesn't have to be! The SAMR model, Bloom's taxonomy, frameworks for teaching literacy, numeracy and other capabilities, as well as this pedagogy wheel are great tools for helping us to get through the fluff and into what really matters - the learning experience. It's all about the pedagogy first - learner-centred, content-directed - and the apps we use to apply that pedagogy, second.

I feel that this wheel is the best way I have been the SAMR model explained. When first introduced in word format, it can be difficult to understand the differences between each level. This is a clear representation of thinking which I think all teachers should have a look at and apply to their curriculum planning.
