A Comprehensive List of Educational Web Resources for Teachers ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning

A Comprehensive List of Educational Web Resources for Teachers ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | Information and digital literacy in education via the digital path | Scoop.it

The web is teeming with all kinds of content and as a teacher with a busy time schedule you probably find it hard to go online and start sifting through this tsunami of information to find relevant digital resources to use with your students.  It is both energy and time consuming task and this is why I deemed it necessary to compile as much comprehensive a list as possible to make it handy for teachers to access web resources related to the content area they teach. I have gone through my archive and extracted all the websites I have reviewed in the past and featured them here under different categories.

Best Sources for Open Educational Resources Used By Educators - EdTechReview™

Best Sources for Open Educational Resources Used By Educators - EdTechReview™ | Information and digital literacy in education via the digital path | Scoop.it
Here are the best sources for Open Educational Resources (OER) suggested by expert educators.

Education is a fundamental human right and as important as the primary basic needs. It improves one’s knowledge, gives one a broader view of the world around us and how things work, reduces the social and economic disparity, thus propagating equality and also raises one's self esteem.

But the world’s overall educational statistics aren’t up to the mark, only 22% of the world's children finish high school and only 55% finish sixth grade. Noticing these drawbacks, many educators, administrators and startups have started creating awareness on education. Introduction of technology into the educational field creates a revolution in student learning. Unlike olden days, people nowadays have numerous sources to get quality education at low costs or even free of cost. Tutorials of high qualified professors, materials from well-established universities and courses on numerous topics from around the world are available on Web. The above mentioned things come under Open Educational Resources (OER).
