Alfredo Corell's insight:

The post is from 2012, and much more tools have arrived for flipping classrooms since then.

Core of Education Vodcast: TedEd, MOOCs, QR codes, augmented reality & flipped classrooms | Create, Innovate & Evaluate in Higher Education | Scoop.it

In "Free Technology for Teachers" written by Richard Byrne

A few weeks ago I was a guest on Rod Berger's Core of Education podcast. It went so well that Rod proposed the idea of a bi-weekly(ish) vodcast or video series in which we spend ten minutes or so talking about apps and trends in educational technology. We recorded the first episode today. In the episode (embedded below) we hit on TedEd and its role in education, MOOCs, QR codes, augmented reality, and flipped classrooms.

A Flipped Classroom? Or Should It Be Sideways? | Edudemic

A Flipped Classroom? Or Should It Be Sideways? | Edudemic | Create, Innovate & Evaluate in Higher Education | Scoop.it
The traditional model of teach we’re familiar with is that of the teacher in front of the class, lecturing and assigning homework for students to do once they leave the classroom. The teacher has full control over their learning process. Or do they? Teachers who seem to have full control over their student’s learning often …
Alfredo Corell's insight:

Put control over the classroom on the hands of the students, not the teachers. Another tool to help you in flipping the classroom

bur, are more students commenting with this tool than in a conventional presential classroom???

Mary Reilley Clark's curator insight, April 11, 2014 2:02 PM

While much of this can be done in Google docs, there are several features which can extend the conversation.  Teachers do need to share documents via email.

Intéressant outil pour faire du commentaire social (débat électronique) sur un document, avec des possibilités de tri et de tracking ... Parfait pour l'hybridation de cours

Murielle Godement's curator insight, February 16, 2015 2:52 AM
