I let my business class do presentations on screen-casting. It gets them a speaking grade for the end of term. The reason I do this is a) so they can get it out of the way whenever they have time - the deadline is fairly long and b) they tend to take more trouble over it than if it were just an ordinary presentation, in front of the class.

Should come in handy as I will be dipping my toes (finally!!) into screencasting this term. I like that it is advising on one tool that I have used a few times already (Audacity) and the another that I is already on my short list of screencasting software for this term. |
This video recording tool looks like the real thing. Well worth investigating.
