7 sound principles:
"-Learners have to be at the center of what happens in the classroom
-Learning is a social practice and can't happen alone
-Learners are different
-Students need to be stretched, but not too much
-Assessment should be for learning, not of learning (and I would add -assessment should BE learning)
-Learning needs to be connected across disciplines
