Harold Cohen, an abstract painter who developed Aaron, one of the first and eventually one of the most complex computer software programs for generating works of art, died on April 27 at his home in Encinitas, Calif. He was 87.

The cause was congestive heart failure, his son, Paul, said.

Mr. Cohen was a painter growing weary with the traditional practice of art in the late 1960s when he taught himself, out of curiosity, how to program a computer. ...

Promoting your business online takes many channels and methods, including press releases.

 

Understand How to Create a Winning Press Release

 

As a business recognition is like gold when it comes to building an audience. I agree that publishing a news announcement can enhance your brand promotion efforts.

 

Gilbert goes over how to successfully write and publish a press release that gets noticed.

 

Here's what caught my attention:

 

  • Before writing decide what the focus or subject matter will be. This could be a product announcement, event, contest, ect.

 

  • Craft a headline that is eye-catching and newsworthy. Come up with several different ideas to choose from before making a final selection.

 

  • The introduction is the most important part of your press release. It should explain who, what when, where, and why along with a summary of what the article is about.

This week UNESCO launched a framework illustrating its Five Laws of Media and Information Literacy (MIL).
This global strategy marries the large, but often separated, disciplines of information literacy and media literacy and creates a common vocabulary for folks in multiple areas of knowledge to engage in conversation. It also positions these critical literacies as a combined set of competencies–knowledge, skills and attitudes–central for living and working in our world today.

L’usure est la principale responsable des souffrances (emploi, famille, éducation, santé,…) et les usuriers les 1ers esclavagistes de vos vies. De tout temps, elle a été considérée comme le premier mal des civilisations.

 

Tout leader, tout citoyen qui prétend vouloir faire de la politique sans s’être plongé dans le concept de l’usure (création monétaire, endettement, …), gagnerait à préférer faire du jardinage…

Parfois je pense que l'éducation doit améliorer pour ne pas avoir des choses comme celui-là que, aujourd'hui, se passent dans nos pays. 

C´est pour cela que l'éducation doit évoluer et innover (importance TICE). Il faut une participation active des individus à leur propre formation. L'apprentissage ne doit être une accumulation de connaissances, doit progresser pour être un facteur global de la personne.  Pour cela, il faut partir de ses centres d'intérêt et s'efforcer de susciter l'esprit d'exploration et de coopération.
