This Guardian article highlights a hidden cost of climate change, its inflationary effect upon food prices, with a report by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit suggesting that extreme weather events are responsible for one third of recent food price increases.
Indeed, over the past couple of years, the average grocery bill has gone up by £600 and it's expected that worse is yet to come.
