Alternatively, grab a coffee and have a good laugh at the disingenuous nature of this clip. The Treasury aren't going to do very much to lower inflation: food and energy prices will fall back irrespective of government intervention; HM Treasury doesn't determine the levels of investment in the largely privately-run energy sector other than at the margin, and arguably they have reduced subsidies for renewable energy; the level of investment in energy efficiency is laughable.

As is the faux-sincerity in this video clip. I'd like to hope that the average Sixth Form economist can see through this clip with little effort.
