Julian Ridden updated the Essential theme earlier this month for users of Moodle 2.6. New features of the amazing theme (aside from a webpage oriented front page, user specific profile navigation in the menu, Google Analytics tracking, and full responsiveness) include improved course category management and the ability to set and theme colors as the end user.
