SmartKlass™ is a Learning Analytics dashboard for Institutions, Teachers and Students. Its Free! View different info from analytics about Course Performance to LMS Activity / Usage. Individual, Collaborative work & Results, Course evolution and more on a daily basis. We use xAPI 1.0 especification (aka Tin Can API) to collect user interaction with the platform. Our technology analyzes the statements collected using machine learning algorithms and builds dashboards analysis with consolidated user information.

This plugin provides three graphs that may facilitate the identification of student profiles. Those graphs allow the teacher to send messagens to users according to their behaviour inside a course. The graphs show:

 

1. Which users accessed file and url resources.

2. Which users have submited assignments on time or late.

3. How each user is accessing the course and its resources in each cours week.

 

It is possible to click over graph elements in order to send email to a group of students (first two graphs) or to a particular student (last graph).

Some of us have assessed the situation, & the prognosis is not good for the test. We might be witnessing the death of testing.


I know that it is sad news for some, but more than a few of us have assessed the situation, and the prognosis is not good for our friend (or perhaps the arch enemy to others of us), the test. We might be witnessing the death of testing. Tests are not going away tomorrow or even next year, but their value will fade over the upcoming years until, finally, tests are, once and for all, a thing of the past. At least that is one possible future.

A local Moodle Module adding Site Analytics

 

The plugin features the following options:


- exclude tracking of admin users
- build full navigation tree for Piwik course category and activity tracking
- image based tracking in case javascript is disabled (for Piwik)
- advanced analytics for Google analytics (based on Bas Brands and Gavin Henricks work in 2013)

 

The plugin currently supports 3 Analytics modes, Piwik, Google Universal Analytics and Google Legacy Analytics.
