Based on Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway musical,Disney’s upcoming blockbuster Into the Woods will hit theatres on December 25, 2014. Its first teaser trailer has been released a few days ago and it features major Hollywood stars including acting legend Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, James Corden, and – although, in the trailer, hides behind a tree – Johnny Depp.

We’ll have to wait until next January for Rob Marshall’s film of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s fairytale-twisting musical Into The Woods. But, judging by comments Sondheim made to high school drama teachers recently, fans of the show might want to gird their loins for some changes to the plot.
