Rite Aid to accept contactless along with Google, Apple, and other upcoming payment options thus breaking away from MCX (CurrentC); Best Buy decided to start accepting Apple Pay the moment exclusivity contract expires.
We will see more retailers break free from MCX ranks - a solution that has taken too long, limits customer experience/choices, and as soon as management teams realize accepting all payment forms is in better interest of merchant with fee being the cost of doing business!
