Finextra: Sweden is on track to becoming the world's first cashless society, thanks to the country's embrace of IT, as well as a crackdown on organised crime and terror, according to a study from Stockholm's KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Swish the real-time payment app is driving lower usage of cash in Sweden and the Denmark. Cash money circulation has reduced considerably in past six years. This can be great cost savings to the treasury activities including print, circulate, ledgers, fraud, moving cash and tracking more electronic usage for tax records!
