4 things you need to know to help your students manage their online reputation [Infographic] | Pedalogica: educación y TIC | Scoop.it

How To Use Twitter For Finding A Job | twitter how to

How To Use Twitter For Finding A Job | twitter how to | Pedalogica: educación y TIC | Scoop.it

Twitter has become one of the most, if not the most, common ways for people to keep in touch and share information. Just by making your usual tweets you can keep friends and family informed of your life and potential job providers aware of your situation. I know this may be a new concept for some, but you would be well informed to learn how to use Twitter for finding a job.

But, what do you do if you do not have a massively extended network of friends on Twitter?

Use an app like TwitJobSearch.

This will help you keep your job search information straight, find jobs openings posted on Twitter and actually apply for them directly! This handy little program will help you divide information into categories and save the jobs you are interested in.

10 Amazing Social Media Statistics [INFOGRAPHIC] | Pedalogica: educación y TIC | Scoop.it

Did you know that Twitter is grabbing more new registrations than Facebook, with more than half of its entire userbase compromised of people who have signed up in the last year, compared to just 19 percent for Mark Zuckerberg’s baby?

What if I said that almost a quarter (23 percent) of Facebook users check their account five or more times each day, Twitter users are 33 percent more likely to be Democrats or – sorry Foursquare – that 74 percent of Americans are unfamiliar with the concept of ‘checking in’.

These, and several other amazing social media statistics, can be found in the infographic on social media statistics...
