Migrants were among the first victims of the global economic crisis and their situation has become increasingly critical, in a way its own subcrisis. Flexi-in-security, the joint project of five cultural organisations in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Sweden and Belgium, has been developed in reaction to this crisis within a crisis. It is a cultural project with a clear political purpose. While being shocked about the human tragedies and worried about the governments’ lack of compassion for the situation of migrants, we welcome that the crisis has opened a much-needed discussion about the way migration is organized.
Pour ce reportage, c'est Julien, aka Eole qui va nous présenter une de ses séries tout à fait originale : European Jump Project. Une idée simple, un projet qui prend son temps.

Japan raced to avert a nuclear meltdown today by flooding a nuclear reactor with seawater after Friday's massive earthquake left more than 600 people dead and thousands more missing. Towns in the country's northeast coast were literally wiped away by an ensuing tsunami, leaving countless people seeking shelter in the aftermath of the quake, which measured 8.9 on the Richter scale and was the country's strongest recorded quake.
