In case you missed it in the holiday rush. Canon Singapore has released an interactive reference iOS app for all Canon EF & EF-S lenses.

 

Description
CanonSGLens is a free Canon Singapore App that features detailed lens specifications of all Canon EF and EF-S lenses sold in Singapore. The application also contains a unique interactive simulator that allows you to compare the field of view of two camera-lens combinations whereby the cameras and lenses can be any Canon EOS digital SLR and lens.

"Apple has announced its latest iPhone model, featuring an 8MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor. The iPhone 4S features faster image capture (down to 0.5s shot-to-shot time and 1.1 second 'time to first photo'), and captures more light as a result of the new sensor. It also gains 1080p video, is said to have better auto white balance performance and adds face detection for the first time. The 4S will first be available in the US, UK and five other countries on October 14th, with 22 more countries following two weeks later."

"I bought my first iPhone, the second-generation 3G, in 2008. I didn't buy it with photography in mind and in fact, as far as its camera was concerned, I took a serious downgrade. My previous phone, the Sony Ericsson K800i wasn't the best phone in the world, but it had a far better camera. The iPhone 3G, like the original iPhone, took dreadful pictures in comparison. Back in 2008 iPhone users had to put up with poor detail resolution, even worse low light performance and - of course - no flash..."
