When the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) this week began taking military action in the Gaza strip against Hamas (as the IDF announced on Twitter), Anonymous declared its own war as part of #OpIsrael. Among the casualties are thousands of email addresses and passwords, hundreds of Israeli Web sites, government-owned as well as privately owned pages, as well as databases belonging to Bank Jerusalem and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Iranian Hacker Responsible for Attacks on US and Israeli Sites Arrested...
Iranian authorities have arrested a man suspected of hacking into more than 1,000 foreign websites. Most of his targets are from the United States and Israel.
According to Trend, the hacker claimed that he breached the US and Israeli websites out of curiosity and to demonstrate that they were not properly secured.

Hundreds of thousands of legitimate web sites are currently affected in a a mass SQL injection attack that has been ongoing for the past several months.
The ongoing mass SQL injection attacks, are directly related to last year’s scareware-serving Lizamoon mass SQL injection attacks.
The cybercriminals behind it, are automatically exploiting the legitimate web sites, and embedding a tiny script on the affected pages, abusing an input validation flaw, or exploiting vulnerable and outdated versions of the web application software running on them.

According to many customers, sites hosted by major web host and domain registrar GoDaddy are down. According to the official GoDaddy Twitter account the company is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.
