Un malware vise les utilisateurs du jeu en ligne World of Warcraft en détournant les comptes, même si les propriétaires passent par un système d'authentification à double facteur.
Le monde de jeux en ligne n'est pas épargné par les cyberattaques. Un représentant du support technique de Blizzard Entertainment, éditeur de World of Warcraft, a déclaré dans un forum de Battle. Net, « nous avons reçu des rapports concernant un dangereux cheval de Troie qui vise à compromettre les comptes des joueurs, même s'ils utilisent une solution d'authentification pour se protéger ».
Il ajoute que « ce trojan agit en temps réel pour voler à la fois les identifiants du compte et le mot de passe d'authentification lors de leur saisie ».

Ubisoft says email addresses and other details stored on its computers have been "illegally accessed", compromising up to 58 million accounts.

Just days after the launch of the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, Kaspersky Lab experts have discovered that PC gamers across Europe were hit by a massive number of attacks in 2013. Currently Kaspersky Lab knows 4.6 million pieces of gaming focused malware, with the total number of attacks facing gamers hitting 11.7 million globally.
