In the wake of the tension between the NBA and China, VP Pence has joined the conversation by blasting Nike. It's clear that the White House is frustrated about the critiques they have been receiving from players, personnel, and athletic organizations. They have picked the China/NBA fiasco to highlight how they perceive that they are being held to a higher standard of criticism than foreign governments.
