These resources have been created for the online learning world. You may know some of the selected plays and some may be new. It’s always great to make discoveries. Whichever is the case, Australian Plays recommends that teachers access and read a script before selecting it for their students. Each script and the accompanying activities are designed as a mini unit of work or series of lessons for students to do solo, in pairs and in collaboration and take place over several days or more..

Kim Flintoff's insight:
Brought to our attention by Dr Megan Upton.   Engaging with Australian plays is engaging with the Australian voice.   The stories and perspectives identify elements of our identity and shared experience.

Flexible learning

FACULTY OF HUMANITIES Flexible Learning Getting started with Flexible Learning and Blackboard
Kim Flintoff's insight:
This was put together back in 2012 - assuming it was totally redundant by now, it was left to languish in a repository at Slideshare... but it might hold some interest:

Despite the mention of humanities it reflects a wholistic approach to planning, creating, delivering and assessing in a flexible manner in any discipline.

It reflects its original context but carries all the thinking behind flexible learning engagement in broad terms.

A Template, a Course, and an OER for an Emergency Switch to Online – | Teaching during COVID-19 | Scoop.it

So the last few weeks have been… something. Many of us found ourselves in the rush to get entire institutions online, often with incredibly limited resources to do so. I’ve been in the thick of this as well. Recently I shared some thoughts about institutions going online, as well as an emergency guide to taking a week of a class online quickly. I would like to add some more resources to the list that we have been developing since those posts.

Kim Flintoff's insight:
Matt Crosslin is a well-established elearning professional and makes available a range of his resources and guides.
